Following a critically-acclaimed sell out run at The Old Vic and the West End, Noises Off comes to the Lyceum Theatre from Monday 13 - Saturday 18 May.
Hailed as one of the greatest British comedies ever written, Michael Frayn's (Democracy, Copenhagen, Benefactors) multi-award winning backstage farce serves up a riotous double bill - a play within a play. Hurtling along at breakneck speed it follows the backstage antics of a touring company as they stumble their way through rehearsals to a shambolic first night and a final disastrous performance.
Olivier award-winning director Lindsay Posner (Abigail's Party, A View from the Bridge, Butley and Carousel) leads an all-star cast, including Neil Pearson (Drop the Dead Donkey, Bridget Jones' Diary), Maureen Beattie (Lewis, Vera, Taggart), Thomasin Rand (Call the Midwife, Sherlock) and Geoffrey Freshwater (Foyle's War, Law & Order).
Don't miss this chance to see another of Michael Frayn's masterpieces at Sheffield Theatres.
Tickets for Noises Off are on sale now from Sheffield Theatres' Box Office, priced £18.00 - £30.00. Call 0114 249 6000 or visit sheffieldtheatres.co.uk to book.
