Roll up! Roll up! The wait is finally over! For Monsieur Montpellier, the world's greatest magician, adventurer and storyteller – shall be previewing his 2009 Edinburgh Pleasance show at the Canal Cafe Theatre.

The event will be taking place on Thursday 23rd July, from 7.30 - 8.30pm at Delamere terrace, little venice, W2 6Nd.

Tickets cost £6/5 concs (plus £1.50 membership fee). To book tickets call the box office on 0207 289 6054 or visit www.Canalcafetheatre.com.

Gasp in amazement, shriek in delight and recoil in horror as Montpellier recounts a 'famous' story from his past, fresh from memory and as suggested by the audience – guaranteeing a different show every night! With Montpellier starring as himself and his servant Le Cabaret filling in a cast of characters in various guises, the story will be brought to life before the audience’s very eyes.

If that were not enough, the show shall also feature magic, mind-reading and illusion from across the seven continents, as Montpellier seeks to cement his reputation, once and for all, as the greatest showman on earth!

Montpellier’s act is truly versatile and the combination of carefully practiced tricks and spontaneous improvisation on stage means that the act can be tailored to suit all needs! In the six months since he began, Monsieur Montpellier has performed to captivated audiences at stand-up nights, Soho cabaret bars and street theatre, as well as his own full length shows in London. Montpellier is confident – the Canal Cafe will never have seen anything like this before!
