Direct from the West End, the multi-award-winning master of mind control and psychological illusion returns to amaze, astonish and enthral audiences with his latest show, Derren Brown: Underground. This is a collection of his best and favourite work, and promises magical genius and epic showmanship.
This year marks Derren's 15th year of touring live material. Alongside these shows, he has created many television programmes, including a new Netflix special, due to air this year.
Derren describes Underground as the most rewarding show he's performed to date: "Firstly it's all the best material. So nothing feels like filler: it's the absolute favourite routines, been picked from 15 years of touring. That's a great starting point.
"Then I get to re-work them as the performer I am now, and for some, that's 15 years on. I took a different production of it to New York, and have performed it pretty much every night for 10 months: it's reached point of total comfort for me, where everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong, every possibility has been explored, and it's a total delight to go out and enjoy night after night. "
Derren Brown:Underground is at The Marlowe Theatre from Tuesday 26 to Saturday 30 June, with performances at 2.30pm (Saturday) and 7.30pm. Tickets, priced from £41.25 to £49.75 (concessions available) are from the Box Office on 01227 787787, and marlowetheatre.com.
