The Watermill Theatre's musical comedy SOME LIKE IT HOTTER embarks on a national UK tour on Monday 15 May at Eastbourne's Devonshire Park Theatre. Written by Richard Hurford (Pilot Theatre Company/Sheffield Theatres) it imagines a heavenly meeting between three Hollywood legends: Marilyn Monroe, Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis. The production is presented by Fresh Glory Productions (Lilies on the Land, The Awkward Squad).

It's April 2013. Funny man Jack Lemmon and the incomparable Marilyn Monroe are reunited with Hollywood heart-throb Tony Curtis. But where exactly are they and what the hell is going on? This fast moving, fantasy comedy whisks the three screen icons back to their most beautiful, sexy and hilarious selves in a once-in-an-(after)-lifetime's opportunity to rub shoulders with the stars.

Sarah Applewood reprises her role as Marilyn Monroe alongside Daniel Lloyd as Jack Lemmon and Paul Matania as Tony Curtis. SOME LIKE IT HOTTER is directed by Karen Simpson, designed by Jane Linz Roberts with Musical Direction by Neil MacDonald.

Fresh Glory Productions' recent work includes Lilies on the Land (UK tours 2011 & 2012/West End 2010), The Awkward Squad (West End and UK Tour 2012), Miki (with Norden Farm & Slot Machine), Up the Duff (with York Theatre Royal); Huck (with Shapeshifter and The Theatre, Chipping North), Frozen by Bryony Lavery (UK tour), The CityWives' Confederacy (with the Lions part, Greenwich Playhouse), and Play (with the Theatre, Chipping Norton & Latitude Festival).
