LITTLE ANGEL THEATRE announces August 2012 to January 2013 listings. The Little Angel Theatre is located at 14 Dagmar Passage, London N1 2DN.

The Wild Night of the Witches
A Little Angel Theatre Production for minimum age 5
The two rival witches Mrs. Itchweed and Gerty MacNamara battle furiously over poisons and cough potions, while Mrs. Rushbridges and Miss Pinkney battle over Mr. Gimp! You can be sure it all ends in a wedding…or?
A rollicking marionette romp and the very first show ever performed at the theatre in 1961. This production is performed by a cast of trainee marionettists and directed by master puppeteers Ronnie Le Drew and Sue Dacre.

The Tear Thief HALF TERM SHOW
A Little Angel Theatre Production in association with the Royal Exchange Theatre
Adapted from the book written by Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy
Each night, in the hours between supper and bedtime, the Tear Thief carries her waterproof, silvery sack as she steals the tears of every child who cries. But what does she do with all those tears?

A heart-warming modern fairy tale of a magical world perfectly brought to life by Little Angel’s stunning puppetry. Directed by Little Angel Theatre’s Artistic Director, Peter Glanville.

SATURDAY PUPPET CLUB (ages 5-11, Yr1 –Yr6)
SPC members see a performance of our exciting new production of The Tear Thief before undertaking a 9 week challenge to create their own puppets and develop a short play for performance.

This term we are excited to announce that our Youth Theatre will begin working towards creating a performance over two terms working with professional puppet makers and theatre directors beginning in the autumn term by creating a story and making the puppets they will need.

KIDS FUN DAY HALF TERM ACTIVITY
Top quality puppet making for 5-11 year olds. See a performance in the morning and then create your own puppet in the afternoon.
