Lesley Garrett and Jason Howard will feature as guest soloists in a gala charity concert with the London International Orchestra at London's Cadogan Hall tonight, May 2nd, 2013.
The concert, in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Gastro Research Project, will feature a programme of songs from musical theatre, operetta and film performed by the London International Orchestra with guest vocalists Lesley Garrett and Jason Howard.Paul Bateman who will conduct the London International Orchestra on the evening and has organised the charity gala concert commented: "My six year old son Ben is under Gt.Ormond St. Hospital as he has intestinal failure and therefore has to be fed intravenously. The concert on May 2nd is to raise money for the hospital's Gastro Research Project which is Ben's best hope for the future. I'm thrilled that Lesley Garrett has agreed to give her services along with my lovely orchestra - the London International Orchestra who are largely comprised of retired members of the major London orchestras and exist in order to give concerts for charity. The concert will be a mixture of operetta, musicals and film music and takes place in the lovely Cadogan Hall. Tickets available from the hall's website and all proceeds will go to the charity. Heartfelt thanks in advance for your support."Videos
