Singer-Songwriter Leo Ihenacho, former member of the multi-platinum selling UK group The Streets, is to head the cast of the West End concert hit, Dancing in the Streets.
Leo (aka Leo The Lion) was also one of the most unforgettable singers on this year's series of The Voice. Picked by pop princess Kylie Minogue in the blind auditions - she declared him "one of my favourite singers", fellow judge Will i am described him as a "freakin' incredible singer".
Dancing in the Streets, with a full supporting company of singers, dancers and the 'Dancing In The Streets' band, is the original and the best critically acclaimed celebration of Motown's greatest hits. Earning rave reviews in its West End season, it now sets out on a 37-date UK tour starting at the Hawth, Crawley on Wednesday 8 October. The full tour list is attached.

Leo will act as the show's host and will be singing chart-topping hits made famous by Edwin Starr, The Four Tops, The Temptations and Marvin Gaye. He said: "I grew up loving the sound of Motown. So many famous artists forged their career at the label and the hits that came from that tiny recording studio in Detroit have stood the test of time and remain classics to this day. I feel honoured to be singing some of the greatest songs ever written by a group of truly legendary artists"

As a prominent member of The Streets, Leo contributed to the number one selling albums A Grand Don't Come for Free and The Hardest Way to Make an Easy Living which culminated in a BRIT Awards appearance in 2006 alongside Mike Skinner. The group performed all around the globe, as well as headlining V Festival and Reading Festival. During the summer of 2012 he embarked on a marathon 24 gigs in 24 hours all over London to raise money for charity. Leo is currently working on his second album, which will be released in 2015.
