Lancashire's Hollie Steel Takes Title Role In Brand New Christmas Show at The Lowry

Known for starring in Britain's Got Talent, Accrington born Hollie Steel will star as the title role in The Extraordinary Tales of Holly Christmas at The Lowry Wed 20 - Sun 31 December.

Hollie is no stranger to the Salford stage as she auditioned at The Lowry for Britain's Got Talent when she was 10 years old. The Lancashire performer reached the finals against Susan Boyle.

Hollie Steel will be joined on stage by Jack Alexander (Bob the Elf), Althea Burey (Sparks the Elf) and Richard de Winter (Dad).

This new show will tell the story of a little girl who has never had the Christmas she dreams of. Holly Christmas is clever, fun and fearless; whilst her dad is safe, sensible and boring. A magic book, a Christmas wish and two Elfish-ly brilliant Christmas helpers launch Holly on an adventure she'll never forget. Creating everything she thinks Christmas should be, and teaching Holly and her Dad, what a perfect Christmas really looks like.

Colour the Clouds joined The Lowry's Associate Artist programme in 2017 after the success of 'Aleena's Garden,' a sensory production for 0-3 year olds Developed With The Lowry. The Salford based company provide a unique theatrical experience for family audiences, combining accessible new writing with engaging, original music and vibrant physicality.
