KiteHigh to Present Mick Gordon's ON LOVE, 15-26 Oct.

KiteHigh present their first production ON LOVE by Mick Gordon this autumn at The Bedford in Balham.

Whilst writing his prestigious ON DEATH Mick Gordon came to realise that at the point of death the review of life was universally the same; 'a life without Love is a life not fully lived'. In the introduction to his text Gordon notes that when thinking of Love we immediately think of the heart-wrenching, head-turning, heart-stopping Love but instead what came from writing ON DEATH was the realisation of the 'profound power of responsible, simple, compassionate Love'.

Gordon set about interviewing hundreds of people asking each how Love had affected them and their individual experiences of its various manifestations. People tried to define this seemingly untouchable force and as a result shared beautiful, resonant stories.

Using four actors to play an array of characters, KiteHigh bring these stories to life.

ON LOVE attempts to answer the eternal question: 'How does love work?'
