Katherine Jenkins celebrates Christmas at the Royal Albert Hall with a very special show on Tuesday 7 December 2010.
Since 2003, Welsh mezzo soprano Katherine Jenkins has become one of the UK's favorite singers. The operatic superstar has become a hugely popular figure with her classical take on a varied range of repertoire.
Having promoted her current album, Believe, across the world, Katherine returns to London this December to perform a very special Christmas show. Accompanied by the National Symphony Orchestra (conducted by Anthony Inglis) plus the London Philharmonic Choir, the former BBC Welsh Choir Girl of The Year will also be joined by some very special guests.
At the age of only 30, Katherine has played across the world, performed for Royalty, won two Classical Brit Awards, broken records and has been widely acknowledged for opening up classical repertoire to a new audience. 2010 has already been stellar year for Katherine; completing a sold out arena tour in the Spring, being a mentor / judge on the hit ITV show Popstar to Operastar and being cast in her first ever acting role in the forthcoming Dr Who Christmas Special.
