Based on true stories and actual events from the 1984 miners' strike, this one-man show comes to London for one week only following an acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Festival.

One man, one chair and one pint, that is all that is required to tell this epic tale of the brave men and women who stood up and fought for what they believed in.

Based on true stories from the 1984 miners' strike, Undermined vividly evokes a year when friendships were strengthened and communities came together in the face of adversity. This powerful and deeply human story, brings together the personal and the political, against the ever present backdrop of the strike.

Undermined is written and performed by Danny Mellor and directed by Ben Butcher.

Tickets: £8-£20. Box Office 020 7702 2789 / Book online at www.Wiltons.org.uk

Writer and performer Danny Mellor joined the National Youth Theatre at 16 before training at the University of Hull and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Theatre credits while training include Blister, directed by Steff O'Driscoll. While at Hull, Danny developed the original version of Undermined, originally titled Shafted. In 2015, Undermined played at the Edinburgh Festival which was followed by a short tour. This marks the first time it is being performed in London.
