The writers of the sell-out kids' show 'Barmy Britain' have delved into the murky depths of history once more to bring a whole new set of grisly stories to the stage. Barmy Britain - Part Two! is a 100% brand new show which opens at the Garrick Theatre in London's West End on Thursday 26 September, with Lauryn Redding and Anthony Spargo, playing a cast of characters that are "not so much 'barmy' as barbarous, bloodthirsty and stark raving bonkers." Caroline McGinn, Time Out

Written by Terry Deary and Neal Foster, Barmy Britain - Part Two! 'leaves the nasty bits in' to ensure real history is conveyed in a fun and memorable way with new songs and sketches for audiences aged 6 to 106! The shows serves up a profusion of funny facts and asks audiences 'Could you beat battling Boudicca?', 'Has William Wallace met his match?, 'Can evil Elizabeth entertain England?' before inviting them to 'move to the groove with party Queen Victoria'.

Horrible Histories Live shows are created by Neal Foster and The Birmingham Stage Company; the resident company of The Old Rep Theatre in Birmingham where its shows are devised, then tour nationally and internationally. The BSC has been touring HORRIBLE HISTORIES for seven years throughout the UK, Ireland, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and are about to debut at Sydney Opera House. Recent productions include TOM'S MIDNIGHT GARDEN by Philippa Pearce at The Bloomsbury, BAGPUSS by Oliver Postgate and Pete Firmin at Soho Theatre to THE JUNGLE BOOK and GEORGE'S MARVELLOUS MEDICINE (both national tours). The company is celebrating its 21st anniversary this year.

Terry Deary, the creator of Horrible Histories, is one of Britain's best-selling authors of the 21st Century and the tenth most-borrowed author in British libraries. There are around 50 Horrible Histories titles with total sales of 25 million in 40 countries. He is also the author of over 200 fiction and non-fiction books for young people.

For those who missed Barmy Britain - Part One, there is a final chance to see it from 7 August to 1 September at the Garrick Theatre and then book in for Barmy Britain - Part Two! for the perfect follow up.
