The world's leading classical music management company, HarrisonParrott, today announced the appointment of George Bruell as Director of Creative Partnerships, to be based in their London office.

George Bruell brings to HarrisonParrott over 20 years senior management and arts experience. Previous appointments include Director of Communications at Glyndebourne, where for the last eleven years he has been responsible for creating a successful filming, digital content and broadcast business and leading the work to make Glyndebourne's opera more accessible through broadcasts and online streaming. Prior to that he was a Director in the food technology business at the global food company Cargill having gained an MBA at the Tuck Business School, Dartmouth College in the USA and an MA at Cambridge University, where he was an Organ Scholar.

Reporting to Jasper Parrott, Executive Chairman, Bruell will be responsible for continuing the growth of the company's creative consultancy and development division in this new role as it continues to develop the wide-ranging number of special projects and consultancy roles that have redefined what an artist management company is in the 21st century. In line with the new role, current Sponsorship & Development Manager, Andrea Berbegal will change her title to Creative Partnership & Development Manager and will report into Bruell.

Jasper Parrott commented:

"It is great news that George will join the HarrisonParrott team in this very important new position and the addition of his experience and his proven creativity will be an inspiration for all of us as we further strengthen our commitment to keeping our company at the forefront of innovation in the international music and arts management landscape".

George Bruell responded:

"I am thrilled to join the HarrisonParrott team in this new role. I've long admired the strong reputation HarrisonParrott has in the music industry for creativity, innovation and a world class, artist centred approach, particularly over the last 10+ years I've been at Glyndebourne. I hugely look forward to working alongside an established and experienced team of talented colleagues, particularly in its 50th anniversary year."

Since its founding in 1969, by Jasper Parrott and Terry Harrison, HarrisonParrott has pioneered new approaches to management - one which is intensive, international and centred around the needs and aspirations of its artists. Today, that restless and challenging spirit is as strong as ever, shared across one of the most experienced and international teams in the business which not only incorporates three generations of staff, but also four generations of artists on the roster.

Recent developments have included the opening of an office in Paris (alongside the group's HQ in London and it's Munich office, which has been operating for nearly 15 years) and the founding of PolyArts which not only offers artist management and booking but also cutting-edge programming and audience development services to a wide spectrum of musical genres including film and video game music.
