Jamie Parker, star of stage, radio and screen versions of The History Boys, will make his Pheasantry debut September 12 in a specially devised show ‘Songs of Innocence and Experience' featuring material from Sondheim, Guettel, Rodgers and Hammerstein and Hart. He will be joined by special guests SAm Barnett (also an alumnus of The History Boys) and his wife, singer Deborah Crowe (Sound of Music, Phantom of the Opera).
Jamie Parker - Well known for originating the role of ‘Scripps' Alan Bennett's The History Boys, (a project with which he was involved from the first reading through London, Sydney, Wellington, Hong Kong and radio and film productions of the play) Jamie Parker trained at RADA.
He has recently been seen in Rosencrantz and Gildenstern Are Dead at The Theatre Royal Haymarket and has also played many other roles at The National Theatre, Shakespeare's Globe and the Chichester Festival Theatre.
