HAPPY DAYS Cast Visits Birmingham's Ed's Diner

Happy Days are here again as this brand-new musical arrives at Birmingham Hippodrome Tuesday 22 - Saturday 26 April 2014.

The full principal cast of this brand-new production made an exclusive appearance at Ed's Diner, the retro 1950's all-American Diner in the heart of Birmingham's iconic Selfridges building food hall yesterday including Popstar HEIDI RANGE, Emmerdale's BEN FREEMAN and the legendary CHERYL BAKER as they settled in for a hot dog and shake.

Happy Days - A New Musical features the unforgettable 'King of Cool' Arthur 'The Fonz' Fonzarelli, everyone's favourite 50's family the Cunninghams and the rest of the gang - Potsie, Ralph Malph, Joanie and Chachi as they battle to save their beloved diner Arnold's from demolition. Will 'The Fonz' save the day?

This new musical is written by Garry Marshall, the legendary creator of the original TV series and director of many world-wide hit films including Pretty Woman, Beaches and The Princess Diaries. As well as the memorable Happy Days theme tune the show also boasts 21 brand new songs by Oscar, Grammy and Golden Globe award-winning songwriter Paul Williams who composed the music for the much loved film Bugsy Malone. Henry Winkler, the original Fonz from the television series is the show's Creative Consultant.
