CandyKing Productions present CANDIDA by Bernard Shaw

For the first time in over a decade, Bernard Shaw's CANDIDA is presented in London by CandyKing Theatre at the Greenwich Playhouse.

CANDIDA is a brilliantly witty play about a woman faced with the choice of her staid clergyman husband or a young, incurably romantic poet. As the comic madness escalates around her, she tries to restore sanity to her previously placid life.

CandyKing's production sees the play set in the 1940s, in an homage to the British humour of the popular Ealing comedies, updating and reframing the action for a truly individual interpretation of this classic British masterpiece.
