Based on The Constable series of novels by Nicholas Rhea, Heartbeat ran for 18 years from 1992 to 2010 on ITV in its regular Sunday night slot with audiences regularly exceedingly 10 million viewers and the show was constantly in the top five TV programmes across all the channels.
Now it comes to the stage starring regulars David Lonsdale who played the loveable David Stockwell and Steven Blakely who played PC Geoff Younger.
They are joined by a strong cast including Hollyoaks star, Matt Milburn playing handsome copper PC Joe Malton. Other favourite characters including Gina Ward and Bernie Scripps will also be making an appearance in this production which, with use of video footage and a brilliant set, authentically recreates the atmosphere of the 1960s rural Yorkshire.
