Filament Theatre and Greenwich Theatre have announced the London tour of the new production Momo, which will play at Polka Theatre, Greenwich Theatre and Stratford Circus from 12th March 2014 to 5th April 2014.

"It's like this my dear sir. You're wasting your life cutting hair, lathering faces and swapping idle chit chat. When you're dead it will be as if you never existed. If only you had the time to lead the right kind of life, you'd be quite a different person. Time is all you need, right?"

Momo's new home has been invaded. The Men in Grey have arrived and are taking her friends away from her... not by kidnapping them but by stealing their time! As the world around her starts to run faster and faster and her friends begin to disappear, Momo must defeat this shadowy enemy before the world as she knows it is gone forever.

From the author of The NeverEnding Story, Filament's adaptation of Michael Ende's cult fantasy novel, Momo mixes an original vocal score drawing on Ladino, African and Choral music, storytelling, puppetry and their distinct brand of physical theatre.

Filament Theatre was formed by Sabina Netherclift (director and movement specialist) and Osnat Schmool (composer, lyricist and choir leader). The company combines a cappella choral music with movement to tell stories. Their aim is to bring original music theatre to a wide audience by working with partners in community theatres and presenting work in non-traditional public spaces.

Greenwich Theatre is one of London's finest Off-West End theatres, in the past three years it has become one of the most significant supporters of young and emerging theatre makers in the UK. Currently supporting twenty young and emerging solo artists and companies, including Filament Theatre.
