What do you really know about the person living in the flat upstairs or house next door? Within the confines of our four walls we can easily ignore what might be happening beyond
them.
Encounter on the margins of pond suburbia loneliness, artistry and charm, embodied here by a seafood medley. Colossal Crumbs invite you to a visual feast of folly and three tales of the unexpected, combining puppetry and film, all encompassed within the style of a 1920s silent film.
A show for Brighton Fringe at The Nightingale Theatre, 29-30 Surrey Square, Brighton, BN1
3PA. "Gorgeous detail, eccentric flavor and charming puppetry."
Colossal Crumbs is a Brighton-based visual theatre company who make shows to feed the
imaginations of adults and children alike. Annie Brooks founded the company in 2009 after
meeting an array of brilliant brains on the PAVA course at Brighton University.
Their shows use puppetry, animation, storytelling, film and basically anything they can
get their grubby little hands on. The team is made up of a group of artists who work
collaboratively to devise and perform. Colossal Crumbs are supported by Arts Council England, Ideas Tap and The Nightingale Theatre, Brighton.
