He also directed Henry VI Parts I, II and III for Shakespeare's Globe which included four open-air performances in battlefields from the plays. Gemma Bodinetz said: "We are delighted to announce that Nick Bagnall will be joining us our first permanent Associate Director. Nick is an experienced and exciting director whose cv encompasses acting, dramaturgy and a list of ambitious and critically acclaimed productions in many of our major national theatres as well as the West End. He will be an invaluable addition to the artistic team and will be involved in all areas of programme delivery and artist development. This position was hotly contested by a remarkable quality and range of applicants but Nick's extraordinary skillset and experience combined with his passion for the importance of regional theatre were quite outstanding."

Lindsey Alvis joins the Everyman & Playhouse following seven years with Headlong where she is currently Assistant Producer. Lindsey line produces Headlong productions on tour and in London working closely with emerging directors, including Ben Kidd and Blanche McIntyre, as well as former and current Artistic Directors Rupert Goold and Jeremy Herrin. Lindsey first worked with Everyman & Playhouse on King Lear and most recently she produced the UK tour of Spring Awakening. Other credits include: The Nether (Royal Court); American Psycho (Almeida); The Seagull (UK tour); Boys (HighTide/Soho) and Earthquakes in London (UK tour).

Lindsey Alvis said: "I'm excited to be joining Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse at such an exciting time in the organisation's development. The opening of the stunning new Everyman is testament to the continued importance of both theatres and their place at the heart of this great northern city. Everyman & Playhouse is renowned for working with world class actors, writers and directors and I look forward to nurturing the creativity of the artists we work with, making excellent theatre with a national and international reputation that excites and inspires our audiences."
