Entertainment, Theatre & Arts Marketing Company Joe Public Announces That Lisa Popham Joins As Managing Partner & Con Gornell As Chair Of The Board

Luke Shires, Founder and Managing Director of Joe Public Limited, today announced the appointment of Lisa Popham as Managing Partner and Con Gornell as Chair of the Board.

Lisa Popham was formerly Chief Operating Officer at Dewynters, developing and growing the business for over 20 years. Lisa has previously worked for the Royal Court, The Really Useful Group, The Theatre of Comedy Company and The Society of London Theatre as well as serving as a council member for the Society of Ticket Agents and Retailers throughout her 30 years within the theatre industry.

She said of her appointment: "I am delighted to be joining such an innovative, focussed and sharp team, and am excited to be working with Luke and the team to shape the future of the business as it approaches its tenth anniversary."

Con Gornell is an investor, advisor and consultant for a broad portfolio of entertainment, tech and cultural organisations. He was Executive Vice President, Marketing (EMEA) at Warner Bros. Pictures until 2018 and has previously worked for BBH, Grey and Mediacom.

He said: "Impressed by the ambition of Joe Public and the place it has already secured in the industry, I'm keen to put my three decades of experience within the entertainment sector to work to nurture and guide the business forward. Con Gornell joins Deb Lincoln (Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications & Public Affairs for Warner Bros. Entertainment and Chairperson of Watford Palace Theatre) and Jane Claire OBE (former Executive Producer for English Touring Theatre and Chairperson of Flute Theatre).
