February looks set to be a fabulously entertaining month at St Helens Theatre Royal, which is hosting a fantastic selection of shows from toe-tapping country music and explosive Elvis hits to side-splitting comedy!

With musical tributes to Elvis and a whole host of Country Legends alongside brand new musical comedy play Seriously Dead and the returning favourite Cirque Du Hilarious - this is one month that will certainly not disappoint.

Europe's number one country music show The Legends of American Country Tribute Show showcases highly acclaimed tributes to Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard and Alan Jackson and four brand new tributes to icons George Jones, Kenny Rogers, Patsy Cline and Don Williams in what is a must-see extravaganza. The show takes place on Friday 10th February and features four fantastic respected singers - Rod McAuley, Joe Moore, Evan O Donnell and Tracey McAul - all backed by the superb Keltic Stormband and coupled with an authentic stage set that gives the show a real Nashville feel.

The music does not stop there with A Vision of Elvis starring Rob Kingsley and his sensational band and singers, recognised as Europe's most authentic and successful tribute to Elvis Presley, appearing on Saturday 11th February. This show brings you a full evening featuring all the classic hits, from the hip swivelling 50s Sun Studios to the Movie Years and the 1968 Comeback Special with the finale being the electrifying Jumpsuit Concert Years. Backed by a world class band and featuring Full HD projection, this is the largest Elvis show to tour theatres in the UK.

Starring Benidorm comedienne Crissy Rock, Seriously Dead is a brand-new laugh out loud comedy musical play from the people that brought you Dirty Dusting. When small time crook Albert Blunderstone returns home to attend a funeral, a chain of events is set in motion which places the lives of Betty, Albert, Billy and the local Undertaker Tristan de Winter on a path which leads towards the Pearly Gates and a disgruntled Angel-in-Waiting named Thelma Henderson. With a terrific musical score, a cleverly written plot, this will prove to be a hilarious night at the theatre on Sunday 12th February.

'The Superstars of Slapstick' Clive Webb and Danny Adams, winners of the Ken Dodd Comedy Award and CFA Best Comedy Award, bring their madness and mayhem back to St Helens Theatre Royal on Sunday 26th February with brand new show Cirque Du Hilarious - COMEDY EXPLOSION. Joined by village idiot Michael Potts and a full supporting cast including the Cirque Du Hilarious Showgirls, Rock Band Clownforce and International Circus Acts, what could possibly go wrong?

Chantelle Nolan, Theatre Manager said: "We have a huge variety of exciting shows this February and can't wait to share this new season with our audiences!"
