Elio Pace Celebrates The Music Of Elvis In New Show in Liverpool ImageAfter five years touring the incredible Billy Joel Songbook to sold out theatres across the country, the hugely talented Elio Pace now turns his attention to another of his musical heroes - Elvis Presley, in his highly anticipated new show, Elio Pace presents Elvis Presley.

Whilst the Billy Joel Songbook will continue in the autumn, he brings this new show to theatres across the UK in a 15-date tour this July, including St. George's Hall on Wednesday 4 July.

Teaming up with multi-talented drummer and percussionist Steve Rushton (Imelda May, Jeff Beck, Phil Spector, Hot Chocolate), this unique piece of musical theatre celebrates the music of The King. No bass, no guitars, just voice, piano and drums. This isn't a tribute act...no wigs or jumpsuits, it is quite simply, Elvis Presley stripped back and laid bare portrayed by two musical geniuses.

After a hugely successful, sold out, one-off show last year to commemorate the death of Elvis Presley, that received 5-star accolades across the board and was cited by many as the greatest show they had ever seen, Elio embarks on this 15-date tour of that show due to overwhelming demand.

Elio Pace said: "I am incredibly excited to bring this new show to audiences. I have been a huge fan of Elvis since a very young age and grew up listening to his music - he has been one of the great musical influences throughout my career.

"This show will hopefully present a whole new musical experience for Elvis fans, old and new; with all the music stripped back it will feel like audiences are hearing all of his incredible back catalogue of hits for the first time all over again!"

The tour will begin on Mon 2 July in Lincoln, before stopping at Kendal; Liverpool; Dumfries, Dundee; Glasgow; Horsham; Taunton; Wimborne Minster; Gateshead; Malvern; Sale; Andover; Tunbridge Wells; and finally, London on Sun 22 July.
