Eggs-citing Family Shows Come To Storyhouse This Easter ImageStoryhouse in Chester has an eggs-citing programme of shows to keep all the family entertained during the Easter holidays.

Young dinosaur fans will be roaring with enthusiasm with the chance to get up close to some of their favourite giants at Dinosaur World Live, an incredible interactive show.

Dinosaur World Live comes to Storyhouse on Saturday 7 April and Sunday 8 April.

Dare to experience the dangers and delights of the dinosaur world. Youngsters are invited to join an intrepid explorer across unchartered territories to discover a pre-historic world of astonishing (and remarkably life-like) dinosaurs. Meet a host of impressive creatures, including every child's favourite flesh-eating giant the Tyrannosaurus Rex, a Triceratops, Giraffatitan, Microraptor and Stegosaurus.

Dino fans can also meet their favourites during a special meet and greet after the Dinosaur World Live performances.

Dinosaur World Live is directed by Derek Bond, who previously directed Stig of the Dump in Chester in 2016.

The mischievous and hilarious Gangsta Granny comes to Storyhouse between Wednesday 11 April and Saturday 14 April.

It's Friday night and Ben knows that means only one thing - staying with Granny! There will be cabbage soup, cabbage pie and cabbage cake, and Ben knows one thing for sure, it's going to be so boring. But what Ben doesn't know is that Granny has a secret - and Friday nights are about to get more exciting than he could ever imagine as he embarks on the adventure of a lifetime with his very own Gangsta Granny!

Based on the books by the best-selling children's author and television personality David Walliams, criminal mastermind Gangsta Granny and her grandson Ben are about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime together.

This award-winning West End production is brought to stage by Birmingham Stage Company, the acclaimed producers of Horrible Histories, George's Marvellous Medicine and Tom's Midnight Garden.

Gangsta Granny went straight to number one in the children's book charts, and David Walliams' books have now been translated into no fewer than 50 languages.
