This Saturday 23rd June Eastleigh Unwrapped, produced by The Point, returns for a free day of festival fun.
Featuring circus, theatre for families and interactive workshops, the festival - now in its sixth year - takes place across Leigh Road Recreation Ground and Eastleigh town centre.
This year the event welcomes back firm favourites Handmade Theatre with beautiful new show Too Many Cooks, and there's a chance to dance in the street with Glass House's Time Machine Disco. Get to grips with the fundamentals of drumming at the Junk Jam Workshop, which turns everyday objects into instruments, and learn juggling, plate spinning and more with Top Banana Circus.
This year's festival is headlined by Belgian company Sur Mesure with the spectacular Fillage; a fantastic combination of live music and impressive acrobatics. Don't miss roaming theatre piece Urban Astronaut by Highly Sprung as it journeys through the town centre, and join us in celebrating 250 years of circus at Le Flea (Du Cirque), which is guaranteed to delight all ages.
You can also peruse handmade crafts by local designer-makers at The Sorting Office's annual Summer Open Studios, which is this year curated by Etsy Southampton.
Eastleigh Unwrapped 2018 is sponsored by Marks & Spencer, Eastleigh and supported by Arts Council England.
