Topical comedy is always going to be hit and miss by its very nature, but the (seemingly very young) NewsRevue team get it right more often than not. The jokes at the expense of Messrs Brown, Cameron and Clegg were most popular, indicating a largely British audience; some of the material about pop culture didn't go down quite so well - the opening skit mocking the Glee phenomenon upset two very annoying men behind me who kept moaning, "But I LOVE Glee!", like the entire show should have been moulded to their whims.

I digress. The show is at its best when it's running a bit close to the wind (I loved the Ashley Cole jokes - some gasped at the potential libel) and when the songs they satirise are well-known (surprisingly few people recognised What Is This Feeling from Wicked, meaning the entire section fell a bit flat). Witty and fast-paced, if you ever find yourself thinking Have I Got News For You needs a few musical numbers, this is the show for you.
