Deptford Town Hall Council Chamber presents Hal V Friday 15 & Saturday 16 January 2010 at 7.30 pm.

Goldsmiths Shakespeare Society’s exciting second production, Hal V selects and blends scenes and characters from Shakespeare’s 1 Henry IV, 2 Henry IV and Henry V in a single dramatic entity to chart the rise of Henry V from pleasure-seeking prince to hero-king. The play mixes history, politics and action, with universal themes of power, responsibility and maturity.  It is adapted by Jay Heale, with direction by Eleanor Conlon and musical direction by Nick Hutson.
