Goldsmiths Shakespeare Society’s exciting second production, Hal V selects and blends scenes and characters from Shakespeare’s 1 Henry IV, 2 Henry IV and Henry V in a single dramatic entity to chart the rise of Henry V from pleasure-seeking prince to hero-king. The play mixes history, politics and action, with universal themes of power, responsibility and maturity.
