Born in Canada, Debbie Bridge began her singing career at the University of British Columbia, (Canada) obtaining a Bachelor of Music - Honours Degree. Upon graduation, she received a scholarship to study at the Universität Augsburg, (Germany) to further her studies of German Lieder and Opera with Sena Jurinac.
Among many engagements in more recent years there has been Debbie Entendre (More or Lesque) with More or Lesque Theatre Company, Rosina (The Barber of Seville) with Opera Brava, Maria (West Side Story) with Viva Musica, Canada, Dinah (Trouble in Tahiti) with Echo/Reverb Opera, and Musetta (La Bohème) with Echo/Reverb Opera. She's even sung for Prince Andrew and Prince Charles, the later in his front garden!
Debbie has also been privileged to perform at the Weiner Saal, in Salzburg during the world-famous Festival season. Her performing career to date has involved performances in Germany, Austria, England, Scotland, Wales, USA and Canada. She has worked in the West End of London at the Savoy Theatre and the Royal Festival Hall. You may even catch her singing on the London Underground, if you are lucky.
Heide hails from a small city in Canada called "St. Catharines" very close to the honeymoon capital of the world "Niagara Falls", so no wonder her affinity for "love songs". Having trained at LAMDA in London, and AADA in New York City she has been a professional Equity actress for quite awhile now. Some of her long list of credits include a 4 month tour of SE England with 7 plays in rep. Curtain Call at the White Bear Theatre, her one woman show, Das Kabarett, Vancouver and Victoria Fringe Festivals Canada, The Glass Menagerie, As You Like It, Project X Theatre. Television: Elliot the Moose, PBS, YTV, and Treehouse.
She has been studying classical singing here in London and is thrilled to share the stage with a fellow Canuck, hoping we can shake things up a bit here in London town.
