The Grand Theatre is pleased to announce that the West End phenomenon JERSEY BOYS will be coming to Wolverhampton in 2016. The hugely successful musical about the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons has been seen by over 20 million people worldwide and is firmly established as one of London's longest running and most popular shows.
Star of Baywatch and Knight Rider David Hasselhoff will make his Grand Theatre debut in a brand new musical LAST NIGHT A DJ SAVED MY LIFE. From the creators of Dreamboats and Petticoats, 'The Hoff' plays an extrovert, party going DJ in Ibiza in a show packed full of 90s hits. Tommy Steele - 'Britain's greatest song and dance man' stars in a new musical THE GLENN MILLER STORY and following 23 years in London, BLOOD BROTHERS returns to the Grand Theatre. TV favourite Keeping Up Appearances' Daisy - Judy Cornwell takes to the stage as Miss Marple in A MURDER IS ANNOUNCED.

SUMMER 2015:
New shows this summer include BARBARA DICKSON IN CONCERT, a special performance on Sat 20 June from the legendary theatre star who made her stage debut as Mrs Johnstone in the original London production of Blood Brothers. Together with an accomplished band, she explores her catalogue of songs, including her folk roots, at an intimate level.
From Tues 23 - Sat 27 June, fans of Dreamboats and Petticoats can find out what happened to Bobby and Laura in the sequel - DREAMBOATS AND MINISKIRTS. It's now 1963 and the world is changing, Bobby and Laura can't improve on their chart-topping success, will Beatlemania and the Merseyside sound prove inspirational enough for another shot at stardom?
Already on sale is the return of Agatha Christie's record-breaking longest running show THE MOUSETRAP. A group of people are gathered in a country house and cut off by the snow - they discover, to their horror, that a murderer is in their midst. The 60th Anniversary production from the Queen of Crime runs from Mon 29 June - Sat 4 July.
On Sat 25 July, Carole Gordon's superb vocals bring the music of Karen Carpenter to the stage in VOICE OF THE HEART. A stunning two hour celebration of The Carpenters features the hits Close To You, Goodbye To Love, Yesterday Once More, Only Yesterday and many more.
The Grand Theatre choirs, Grand Circle and Grand Ambition perform a brand new concert production on Sat 15 Aug - SOUNDS OF SUMMER, which no matter what the weather will transport you to relive those summer nights. The choirs will perform a selection of songs inspired by the upcoming autumn season including Shrek the Musical!
AUTUMN 2015:
If its laughter you're after then the Fizzogs will provide it in bucketloads with their hilarious new show FIFTY SHADES OF FIZZOG on Thurs 3 Sept. Hilarious routines feature the naughty 'Schoolkids' to the even naughtier 'Dancing Grannies' whose raucous comedy routine went viral having attracted over 1.6 million shares on Facebook.
Based on the much loved book by Dr Seuss, THE CAT IN THE HAT will be a lively and engaging first theatre experience for young children aged 3+. Expect towering hats, mischief and fun on Fri 4 & Sat 5 Sept.

West Bromwich Operatic Society returns for a second production in the 2015 season with SUNSET BOULEVARD from Tues 8 - Sat 12 Sept. Following their production of Ghost - The Musical in May, Sunset Boulevard marks the first time that Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical about silent movie star Norma Desmond plays the Grand Theatre stage.
On Sun 13 Sept, THE MAGIC OF MOTOWN stops off in Wolverhampton as part of a nationwide tour, celebrating the hits of The Four Tops, The Supremes, The Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Lionel Ritchie and many more.
West End stars unite to present a memorable two-hour feast of musical theatre's greatest hits in THE MASTERS OF THE HOUSE. From Les Miserables to Chicago, Evita, Miss Saigon and The Sound Of Music the concert also celebrates the modern musical with Wicked and many more on Sat 26 Sept.

Mon 26 - Sat 31 Oct sees the return of Willy Russell's devastating 'musical for all time' - BLOOD BROTHERS. With a cast still to be announced, the story of the Johnstone twins, separated at birth features the famous songs Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged Tell Me It's Not True.

West End actor-musicians have united to rock 'n' roll Wolverhampton audiences with THE FABULOUS BUDDY HOLLY AND THE CRICKETERS on Sun 1 Nov.

With a career spanning over 50 years on stage and screen, Judy Cornwell (Daisy in Keeping Up Appearances, Mrs. Anya Claus in Santa Claus The Movie) leads the cast of a lavish new production of A MURDER IS ANNOUNCED as everyone's favourite sleuth Miss Marple from Tues 24 - Sat 28 Nov.

Finally, the UK and Ireland tour of the 2009 Olivier Award winner for Best New Musical JERSEY BOYS will run for two weeks from Tues 9 - Sat 20 Feb 2016, with casting to be announced. The remarkable true story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons sees their rise to stardom from the wrong side of the tracks. These four boys from New Jersey became one of the most successful bands in pop history, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and sold 175 million records worldwide, all before they turned 30. The show is packed with their hits, including Beggin', Sherry, Walk Like A Man, December, 1963 (Oh What a Night), Big Girls Don't Cry, My Eyes Adored You, Let's Hang On (To What We've Got), Bye Bye Baby, Can't Take My Eyes Off You, Working My Way Back to You, Fallen Angel, Rag Doll and Who Loves You.
