Darlington College is the first north east business to sign up to Darlington Hippodrome’s new 10 for 10 campaign.
The campaign is looking for ten north east businesses to invest £1000 each to the Hippodrome’s charitable fund A Place For Everyone. The business investments will subsidise tickets for the opening performance of the Hippodrome’s annual festive pantomime which this year is Sleeping Beauty, the tickets being distributed to families and groups in Darlington for whom a visit to the theatre may well be out of reach, making thousands of dreams come true and creating life-long memories.
Claire Hankey, Head of Marketing and Engagement at Darlington College said “When we heard about the 10 for 10 scheme we absolutely wanted to be part of it. We pride ourselves on being a college for the community and like to give back in any way we can. By actively participating in community initiatives such as this, we are able to contribute positively to the growth of cultural capital in our local area.”
