Culture Warrington's spooktacular Culture Camp, held at Warrington's Pyramid arts centre, will keep young monsters busy this half term creating an original haunting performance piece featuring music, song, dance, drama and art.
Culture Warrington's experienced tutors encourage participants to delve into their imagination the way only children know how; creating worlds outside the norm, perfecting their blood-curdling screams and, most importantly, creating haunting atmospheric music to build the tension.
The Horror of Halloween Culture Camp is for children aged 7- 14 years, consisting of a range of workshops spanning craft, music, dance and drama which interlink with a single chosen theme.
The sessions give participants the skills to devise an original work which will be showcased at Pyramid, a venue that's hosted world famous artists such as Peter Kay and Justin Moorhouse, at the end of each week.
Culture Camp runs from Tuesday to Thursday beginning on 27 October 2015 and running through until 29 October 2015. Each day begins at 9:30am and finishes at 4:30pm. Participants are welcome to book for the full week run or a single day of their choice.
Culture Camp is delivered in partnership with Warrington Wolves Foundation and Children's University.
Derek Dick, Exhibitions and Services Manager at Culture Warrington said, "Culture Warrington prides itself on offering high quality artist led workshops that encourage the children to challenge, question and explore their ideas through the use of the arts, whilst also having fun! Culture Camp certainly has plenty to offer to keep children's imagination engaged."
