Lizzie comes to Greenwich Theatre next year following a run at Fredericia Teater, Denmark in January 2017.

Lizzie is four women fronting a six-piece rock band. Lizzie is rage, sex, betrayal, and bloody murder. Lizzie is American mythology set to a blistering rock score. Lizzie is a new American musical with a sound owing less to Sondheim and Andrew Lloyd Webber than to Bikini Kill, the Runaways, and Heart.
Ciara Renée plays Emma Borden. She played The Leading Player in the recent Broadway revival of Pippin. On Broadway, Renée also appeared in Big Fish. Off-Broadway she recently played Susan in Tick Tick... Boom with Keen Company. She originated the role of Esmeralda in The Hunchback of Notre Dame at Paper Mill Playhouse. She has been seen in productions of The Wild Party, Sondheim on Sondheim, Dreamgirls, Carousel, and Passing Strange, among others. Television includes DC's Legends of Tomorrow" and Netflix's Master of None.
Bjørg Gamst plays Lizzie Borden. She trained at the Danish Academy of Musical Theatre. Original casts Denmark: Avenue Q as Kate Monster and Lucy The Slut . Janet van de Graff in The Drowsy Chaperone). She played the title role in Fredericia Theatres original production of LIZZIE. Lizzie marks the start of a new and exciting collaboration between British-based company Aria Entertainment, headed by producer Katy Lipson, and Denmark-based Fredericia Theater, headed by producer and Artistic Director Søren Møller. The collaboration builds on Aria Entertainment's support and development for new musicals both in the UK and overseas and Fredericia Theater's desire to continue mounting acclaimed work on an international scale beyond their home in Fredericia, Denmark. .
Fredericia Teater, run by creative producer Soren Moller, is an international acclaimed and award winning theatre that has specialised in producing and developing new musicals. Danish producer Soren Moller is a member of the Broadway League, and serves as board member at National Alliance for Musical Theatre, New York. Fredericia has had numerous European and World premieres, here amongst is Disney's Aladdin - The Musical that currently is celebrating its run in the West End, in Hamburg and on Broadway. Fredericia Theatre was one of six places in the world that was selected to produce Aladdin prior to its Broadway run, the only place in Europe before it opened in New York. Other titles include The Drowsy Chaperone, George Stiles' The Three Musketeers, Esaura, Disney's The Little Mermaid - The Musical, Edges, Young Frankenstein and many more. Currently Fredericia Teater is producing the new version of Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame - The Musical, the first place outside of the US and only the third production in the world. Soren Moller is also co-chair of the Festival committee of the NAMT Festival for new musicals, New York.
Aria Entertainment is a theatrical Production Company headed up by Producer and Company Director Katy Lipson. Aria Entertainment is a recipient of a Stage One bursary for new producers, as well as being a proud member of the National Alliance of Musical Theatre. Aria Entertainment has received several Grants for the Arts from Arts Council England and works on and off-West End in the not-for-profit and commercial sectors.Notable credits include The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Arts Theatre), The Secret Garden - In Concert (UK Tour), Children of Eden - In Concert (Prince of Wales Theatre), Marry Me A Little, Forever Plaid and Jerry's Girls (St. James Theatre), Rags - In Concert (Lyric Theatre), The Toxic Avenger (Southwark Playhouse), as well as new musicals When Midnight Strikes, The Return Of The Soldier, The House Of Mirrors And Hearts and The Stationmaster at various off-West End venues. Future productions include a revival of Promises, Promises (Southwark Playhouse) and the U.K. premiere tour of The Addams Family.
Katy is also resident producer at Manchester's newest independently-run theatre, Hope Mill Theatre. Productions there include Parade and Hair and in 2017 they will produce three new musicals. Katy is proud to have launched the only new musical theatre season, called From Page to Stage, aimed at the public and industry alike. Over four years, the season has supported over 50 new musicals in development and this year will present the UK Premiere of Hamilton's Lin-Manuel Miranda's 21 Chump Street.
