On the six-month anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Chaskis Theatre presents After Orlando on Monday 12 December 2016 at 7:30 p.m.

After Orlando is a global theatre action in response to the Florida attack: a playwright driven project comprising over seventy short pieces specifically written and curated by emerging and established international voices in theatre, including Neil LaBute, Winter Miller and Anders Lustgarten.

Chaskis Theatre presents an evening of a selection of these powerful plays and poems, plus live music and special guests, in memory of the lives lost and the lives still affected.

Cast includes: Madalena Alberto (Evita, Les Miserables), Maddy Hill (EastEnders), Huw Parmenter (Vikings).

All profits from the event will be donated to London LGBT charity Stonewall, who campaign for acceptance without exception.

"Now, more than ever, we must come together and champion the values we hold, using the language we know best. We stand up for equality without exception and empathy across all borders. Cultural, ethnic, and sexual diversity are the riches of our global community. When these values are threatened we fight back with Poetry and Action, Love and Community." Chaskis Theatre

'As theatremakers, we have the ability to bring together many singular unique voices toward a common goal. We have invited some of the most admired theatre artists worldwide to participate; to share our grief, our anger, our hope and our desire to combat the violence we are now living with on a daily basis.' - Kline and Baker of Missing Bolts Productions

After Orlando is a Chaskis Theatre production in conjunction with Missing Bolts Productions, NoPassport Theatre Alliance & Press and Park Theatre.
