Charles Court Opera, "the masters of Gilbert & Sullivan in small spaces" - Camden New Journal, make their long awaited return to the King's Head Theatre with a brand new, fresh and witty production of Patience, the masterly duo's satire on artistic movements and meaningless fads.
Brimming with cheeky humour, some of Sullivan's most irresistible music and deliciously over-the-top characters, Patience is an hilarious, yet sophisticated comic opera not to miss.
It will run from Wednesday 4 June - Saturday 28 June. Press night is Friday 6 June at 7.15pm.
Cast to be announced.
Director John Savournin and designer Simon Bejer (winner of Best Opera Production at this year's Off-West-End Theatre Awards) will brush with modernity to bring out the operetta's relevance to a modern audience and, with a cast of nine singers under the energetic musical direction of David Eaton, this fizzing new production promises to send you out smiling from ear to ear.
