The Barclaycard Arena, formerly NIA, in Birmingham is one of the busiest, large scale indoor sporting and entertainment venues in the World. This Christmas, however, the arena is playing host to "the world's biggest panto", Cinderella - produced by Arenas Panto Ltd.
Cinderella features a star-studded cast including Bradley Walsh and Paul O'Grady, and children's' TV stars Dick and Dom plus a company of over 100. With something for all the family, whether you are 2 or 102, you will witness a spectacle, including a visit from Santa Claus himself, plus some phenomenal special effects.
The set features a 50 foot high castle which sets the scene of this classic fairytale which everyone knows and loves. Bradley Walsh; best known for presenting ITV's The Chase, stars as the loveable Buttons, whilst everyone's favourite Paul O'Grady appears as Cinderella's magical Fairy Godfather. Will Prince Charming - Richard McCourt (Dick) - find his 'Princess' with the help of his aid and sidekick Dandini played by Dominic Wood (Dom)?
Witness breathtaking demonstrations of aerial acrobatics, gospel choirs, Bollywood and Street dancers along with many more seasonal treats.
Jon Conway, one of the industry's most renowned pantomime producers, is the man behind the magic having written and produced the show. He has produced over 400 pantomimes in his career and has created shows for BBC TV, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Las Vegas showrooms, and concert tours all over the world.
Jon Conway said: "Forget the traditional pantomime- this year, we are mixing things up! It's fantastic to be able to create a show without the restrictions of the conventional theatres; Not only have we introduced the largest ever pantomime staging and set, our cast of performers rival even some of the largest West End Shows. I can guarantee no one will have not seen a pantomime like this ever before!"
This is a must-see Christmas show for all ages and wherever you are in the arena, you will be fully immersed in the magic of Cinderella!
Cinderella runs from 20 to 24 December 2015 and tickets can be purchased from http://www.barclaycardarena.co.uk/whats-on/cinderella. Quick...the clock is ticking!
