Bristol Bar Launches Exclusive DIRTY DANCING Cocktails To Celebrate Show's Arrival At The Bristol Hippodrome

Baby carried a watermelon - but now you can drink one instead thanks to three delicious new drinks celebrating the arrival of Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story on Stage at The Bristol Hippodrome!

Luxurious Bristol cocktail bar Aluna has teamed up with the Hippodrome to create three exclusive watermelon-based drinks, which have been specially created by Aluna's expert bartenders to honour the iconic line from the Dirty Dancing film and stage show.

Discerning drinkers will be able to channel their inner Baby and try the Watermelon Martini, Watermelon Bellini and Watermelon Cooler at Aluna from Friday June 28 to Saturday July 6. Dirty Dancing: The Classic Story on Stage runs at The Bristol Hippodrome from July 1-6.

The Watermelon Martini (£7.95) features a heady blend of Stoli, Briottet Peche and Monin Vanilla, mixed with cranberry juice and bespoke watermelon syrup. For those wanting to add a touch of sparkle to their evening, the Watermelon Bellini (£8.95) features a delectable mix of Prosecco and watermelon

syrup, while the Watermelon Cooler (£9.95) will quench your thirst with a blend of watermelon, limoncello, cranberry juice and Midori.

It is hoped Dirty Dancing fans will try out the exclusive cocktails and post photos of their drinks on social media using the hashtag #DirtyDancingBristol, before heading across the road to the Hippodrome to enjoy the show. Anyone who presents their Dirty Dancing ticket to bar staff at Aluna will be able to enjoy 15% off any of the three special Dirty Dancing cocktails.

The cocktails will be unveiled at an exclusive VIP launch event on Monday July 1st ahead of Dirty Dancing's opening night; an event which Aluna is particularly proud to be hosting.
