Riding the zeitgeist in unmatchable style since 2007, the UK's sharpest, darkest musical siblings Bourgeois & Maurice descend on The Marlborough Theatre for a night of scabrous satire and skin-tight catsuits.

Expect rarely-heard old songs, often-heard newer songs and never-ever heard brand new numbers, with subjects ranging from the feel-numb joys of Ritalin to the feel-bad addictions of social networks.

"Gloriously inappropriate decadence...If you like the idea of Julia Davis's ultra-dark worldview being filtered through the medium of torch songs, then you can imagine how they sound. Nothing's off limits to these guys" THE GUARDIAN

Their sell-out show at Brighton Fringe earlier this year left Brighton quivering in anticipation for another chance to see them without getting on a train. So Pink Fringe thought - hey, let's invite them to our house!

We expect their one-night-only debut at The Marlborough Theatre to sell out quickly so grab them for £10 at the bar in the cash, by telephone on 0800 411 8881. Or online at http://bourgeoismaurice.bpt.me.

Since forming in 2007 the duo Georgeois Bourgeois and Maurice Maurice (George Heyworth and Liv Morris) have established themselves as one of the international cabaret scene's darkest and funniest acts. They have performed in some of the country's most prestigious venues including the Royal Opera House, Southbank Centre, Wales Millennium Centre and the Royal Academy of Arts. They have enjoyed sell-out shows at Edinburgh Fringe Festival and also toured the music festival circuit with appearances at Glastonbury, Latitude, Bestival, Electric Picnic and Lovebox, among others.

The Marlborough Theatre is a unique venue in the heart of Brighton, a beautiful miniature proscenium arch stage complete with velvet curtains sat above a friendly and welcoming pub. The theatre is buzzing year round with performance, comedy, music, workshops and literature events, we specialise in the weird, wonderful and unexpected.

Pink Fringe makes Queer & LGBT culture in Brighton. They produce theatre, performance, dance, immersive art and entertainment. Our aim is to challenge perceptions around diverse work, specifically art created by and about Queer & LGBT people, placing it multiple contexts, some familiar, some new and unusual, with the aim of attracting new audiences. www.pinkfringe.org.uk
