Bilston Operatic Company is Taking It All Off For Charity As THE FULL MONTY Opens Next Week! ImageNext Week, Bilston Operatic Company present THE FULL MONTY at Wolverhampton Grand from 6 - 10 November. Inspired by the hugely successful national cancer awareness campaign by The Real Full Monty broadcast on TV earlier this year, members of Bilston Operatic Company have agreed to raise awareness for three local charities that support those currently dealing with the outcomes of cancer.

Gearing up for a role in THE FULL MONTY, Nicholas Sullivan, who grew his hair to play the part of Scrooge in last year's Bilston Operatic Company production of A Christmas Carol recently had his hair cut for The Little Princess Trust. This is a charity based in the Midlands that supply wigs free of charge for children and young adults who have lost their own hair as a result of their medical treatments.

The hair cut was generously done for free by Nick Malenko at Royston Blythe salon.

Nicholas said; "I grew my hair for the part of Scrooge so I didn't have to wear a wig! I am so pleased that I did as now it means my hair can be used to become a wig for a child or young person who needs one. Their self-esteem and wellbeing will be supported by the brilliant work of The Little Princess trust and I know they support Little Princes too!

I have managed to raise £200 to support my hair donation but I know wigs can cost up to £1000. I hope reading about my haircut will inspire others to support this charity."
