Over the summer weeks, some of London's best-loved theatres go "dark." And in the run up to brand new musical Groundhog Day, which opens in July, the Old Vic's stage is quiet. But that doesn't mean the rest of the building is!

In a bid to keeping its doors open, the Old Vic has a whole host of activity planned for a four-week "Summer Social." Click here for full details.

There are events running from now until the 8th July including:

- Mazi Mas pop up kitchen (amazing Greek food)

- Bards without Borders performances. Bards Without Borders is a collective of poets from refugee and migrant backgrounds producing new work inspired by William Shakespeare

- The Pop Up Kitchen from Sticky Bundits (30th June - 2nd July). The Sticky Bundits are bringing a new concept to Street Food - The Sushi Burger. Delicious buns are made from rice with various fillings including Vietnamese-marinated pork belly in their signature Boom Cha. All buns are gluten and lactose-free

- OV12 Takeover (performances produced by The Old Vic 12, mentoring programme at the Vic)

- Organic and sustainable wine and cheese tastings

- Meantime Brewery Tasting

- Live DJs

- Partnership with Waterloo Food Festival
