Following sell-out seasons in the US, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Japan, the international smash-hit musical BLOOD BROTHERS will return to the Wyvern Theatre from Monday 10 to Saturday 15 March.

On Thursday 16 January cast members from the show, Mark Hutchinson and Sean Jones, made a visit to Swindon ahead of their performances at the theatre.

Hailed as one of the best musicals of all time, BLOOD BROTHERS has triumphed across the globe. Scooping up no less than four awards for best musical in London and seven Tony Award nominations on Broadway, BLOOD BROTHERS is simply unmissable and unbeatable.

BLOOD BROTHERS tells the captivating and moving story of Mickey and Eddie - twin boys separated at birth, only to be reunited, by a twist of fate and a mother's haunting secret. The memorable score includes A Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It's Not True.

Sean Jones is excited to be returning to the role of Mickey, a part he has played both in the West End and on the national tour.

Mark Hutchinson's long association with BLOOD BROTHERS has seen him playing Eddie in the West End, on tour, in Toronto and on Broadway, where he won the Drama Desk Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical. He will return to the role of Eddie, when the show runs for one week only at Swindon's number one entertainment venue.

Maureen Nolan makes a welcome return to Blood Brothers as Mrs Johnstone. Maureen has been singing with her sisters since she was nine years old. Together they became one of Europe's first girl bands - The Nolans. The Nolans' success is legendary, including phenomenal record sales worldwide, particularly in Japan where they sold more records than The Beatles! Maureen has played Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers in the West End and on tour to critical acclaim. She was the fourth Nolan sister to play the role, earning them entry in to the Guinness Book of Records.

"It's so lovely to be back in Swindon, we always have a great time there," said Maureen Nolan. "The audiences are so appreciative and we are always made to feel very welcome there by everyone."

Bill Kenwright's production of BLOOD BROTHERS will run at the Wyvern Theatre from Monday 10 - Saturday 15 March. Book tickets today at http://wyverntheatre.org.uk or by calling the Ticket Office on 01793 524 481.
