"Something is growing inside you. You will be a mother. A mother to the thing that is growing inside you." Two parents did not expect a baby grizzly bear, but he's coming.... he's coming with hair, claws and teeth! Their families are afraid and the medical community is up in arms. The media smell an amazing story. How do you respond?

Bear is a moving story about love, shame, forgiveness, guilt, pride and parenthood. Written and directed by Andy McNamee, it will get its world premiere at the Old Red Lion Theatre from Tuesday 28 January - Saturday 22 February. Press night is Friday 31 January at 7.30pm.

Bear grew out of an intense three-week devising/rehearsal process. It features interaction like no other show - the audience are asked to announce, to comment, to judge and to connect with the action on stage.

Cast to be announced.
