Ashley J And Tee J Present Acting Up Comedy  ImageEast London's dynamic duo Ashley J and Tee J present their hit show - ACTing Up at Dugdale, Enfield on Friday 2 February at 7.45pm and RichMix, Shoreditch on Thursday 26 April at 7.30pm

ACTing Up is a live, improvised comedy show where the audience judge the best performances. For these two brand new shows Ashley J and Tee J have devised a 'Battle of the Sexes' special with two teams, one female and one male, going head to head. Both teams will compose new songs, create satirical TV shows and devise sketches. Every show is different and audiences are asked to select the best team on the night.

The ultimate improv comedy between the sexes stars ACTing Up creators Ashley J and Tee-J, with DJ Bradley Charles as the umpire. The line-up features some of the finest talent from East London including Danielle Vitalis, Francis 'Don' Joani, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Monique Campbell, Rosie-Marie Christian.

Danielle Vitalis starred in Neil Gaiman's radio drama Anansi Boys and Patrick Marber's Don Juan in Soho with David Tennant. Danielle is known for playing the role of Louise in E4's YOUNGERS, Tia in FILM 4's Attack the Block and Hannah in BBC's In the Flesh. Monique Campbell hosts a breakfast show on Hitz Radio and previously co-hosted on Radar Radio. She also hosted a monthly open mic night called Rock da Mic. She is the founder of Queening Mothers, an organisation that empowers and supports women. Kiell Smith-Bynoe is a Youtube star, where his sketches and characters have had 15 million views. He has worked closely with Kayvan Novak on his past two shows, also writing and co-starring in Britain Today, Tonight. Theatre credits include: Happy Dave (New Diorama), A Great British Company (The Vaults), 5's a Crowd (Dugdale Centre), Merchant Of Venice (Studio 3 Arts) and Volcano (Theatre Royal Stratford East). His TV work includes Dropperz (ITV2), Whitechapel (ITV) and Parents Evening (BBC3).

Ashley J and Tee-J are known for their energetic comedy and outrageous style of entertainment that appeals to all ages. This fun loving double-act has been performing together for 12 years. In 2009 the pair created the box office hit show ACTing Up which has toured throughout the UK.

TV and Film include: All About the McKenzies (ITV2), Lenny Henry's Funny Black Singles (Leopard Films, BBC Comedy) and EastEnders (BBC).

MTV Base, BBC's Radio1 Hackney Weekend Festival, the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics-torch relays (BBC & CH4), Serious About Street Dance Championships (Indigo o2), Dubai Music Week (Live Nation). Writing credits include 5's A Crowd and his adaptation of Shakespeare's Merchant of Venice.

Tendayi Jembere 'Tee-J' Theatre work includes: Peter and the Star Catcher and Little Voice (West Yorkshire Playhouse), The Saints (Nuffield Theatre), Romeo and Juliet (National Theatre), The Kitchen (National Theatre), Angel House (New Wolsey Theatre; Birmingham REP, West Yorkshire Playhouse); Mogadishu (Manchester Royal Exchange and Lyric Hammersmith). Television work includes: Kerching! (BBC), Doctors (BBC) and Mr Harvey Lights a Candle (BBC). He has also presented on the radio including Fubar, BBC Asia and BBC Radio3.
