The excellent top-value quality-comedy-in-London-tonight is set for this month's Amused Moose Super Saturday show, featuring a great bunch of skillful stand-ups. Coming direct from Soho's only multi-award-winning comedy club, recommended by TimeOut, and just a few minutes from Kings Cross tube/rail station, the event takes place on January 30, 2016.
These monthly, just-after-payday, sell-out shows at the iconic WaterRats music/comedy venue, which launched Oasis in London and Bob Dylan in the UK, are hosted by presenter and comedian Mark Dolan (C4's Balls of Steel and Sky Movies host), who introduces a bunch of outstanding stand-ups, including:
- Andrew Maxwell (Perrier awardwinner, and ITV's King of Comedy)
- Ian Smith (BBC2 Popatron and awardwinning Waiting for Gaddot)
- Mark Simmons ('Clever quips and elegant jokes': Standard)
- George Lewis (Winner of Amused Moose Laugh Off 2015)
Delight at this intimate 'comedy special' in the humour and mirthmaking of tonight's comedians, most of whom you're likely to know from television/radio, while the others are on the rise around the comedy circuit and Edinburgh Fringe, and on tour at theatres across the country and internationally.
