The first musical of award winning duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, EDGES follows four twenty-somethings as they teeter on the edges of their lives. Written while they were still students at the University of Michigan, this contemporary song cycle confronts the trials and tribulations of moving into adulthood, figuring out how and who to be.

The collection of songs interweaves the lives of two men and two women, and speak as much of such universal issues as love, loss, commitment, identity, ambition, growth, and connection, as the obsessions of youth. Each song stands as a story in itself: a son rages against his father, a woman lies next to a lover she doesn't quite love, and all the characters find themselves in front of a computer on a Friday night, desperate not to be alone. Each character and each song is vivid, imaginative and utterly relatable as they explore the full, messy range of this fraught decade.

We've all been there... or we'll all be there: such is the draw of this moving, funny, compelling musical, whether you are 26 or 96.

The cast features Christina Modestou (In the Heights, We Will Rock You), Luke Street, Thomas Henson and Rebecca Jayne-Davies (West Side Story, Jersey Boys, Water Babies). EDGES is directed by Adam Philpott (featured in Dirty Dancing, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Oklahoma) and choreographed by Lewis Butler (Fiddler on the Roof, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Mary Poppins).
