British film, television, and stage actor Christopher Cazenove, died in London on April 7 of septicaemia. He was 64 years old.
Born in Winchester Hampshire, Cazenove often portrayed British aristocrats, and first made his name in the early 1970s drama series, "The Regiment." Other notable roles included Charlie Tyrrell in the UK series "The Duchess of Duke Street" and Ben Carrington in the US soap opera "Dynasty." He also appeared several times in the British drama series "Judge John Deed."Cazenove's last stage performance was in British and American productions of MY FAIR LADY, playing the role of Henry Higgings. His other stage credits included "Hamlet", "The Lionel Touch," "The Winslow Boy," "Joking Apart" and "Goodbye Fidel." His long list of film and television credits included "Julius Caesar" (1970), "Royal Flash" (1975), "East of Elephant Rock" (1977), "Until September" (1984), "Souvenir" (1989), "Shadow Run" (1998), and "A Knight's Tale" (2001). His last on screen appearance was in 2009's "Hotel Babylon" playing Damien Rushby.Videos
