This spring, The Point is delighted to present three special musical cinema screenings, especially designed for people with dementia, learning or physical difficulties, as well as their families and carers.

Screenings are open to anyone and everyone, and will be shown with the lights up a little and the sound down a touch in a relaxed, warm atmosphere where none of the usual rules apply. Sing along, get up and dance; just do what the music makes you feel!

On Tuesday 14th February, relive the magic of Robert Wise and Jerome Robbin's Oscar-winning musical, West Side Story, following the tale of forbidden love between rival gangs in New York.

Join Gene Kelly and the late Debbie Reynolds and start Singin' in the Rain on Tuesday 14th March in the classic musical comedy that features one of the most infamous song and dance routines in cinema history.

Finally, return to the Golden Age of Hollywood with High Society on Tuesday 18th April, where an all-star cast of Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and John Lund compete for the affections of Grace Kelly.

Tickets are £5 or free for carers and include a complimentary hot drink and biscuit; to book yours visit www.thepointeastleigh.co.uk or phone the Box Office on 023 8065 2333.
