Paul Spicer is a man of many talents - as well as producing the Wyvern Theatre's forthcoming production of An Evening of Dirty Dancing, he is also co-founder and Associate Director of the West End's Notes from New York series, co-founder of Speckulation Entertainment and an established West End performer having starred in Avenue Q, The Last 5 Years and Taboo.

On Wednesday 29 May, Paul shared his wealth of experience with the Wyvern Theatre's forthcoming Summer Youth Project participants. The young performers will present Our House, at Swindon's number one entertainment venue, from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 August.

"As an advocate of the arts, it's absolutely paramount to be able to have the opportunity to connect with the younger generation, and to be able to work with them and help to inspire and encourage," says Paul Spicer. "Both my parents are teachers and I inherited their passion for guiding youngsters towards achieving their ultimate goals."

An Evening of Dirty Dancing is a fully choreographed, theatrical celebration of the iconic soundtrack to the movie Dirty Dancing. The show returns to the Wyvern Theatre on Friday 5 July after last year's sell-out success, starring West End leading lady and winner of the BBC Radio 2 Voice of Musical Theatre, Aimie Atkinson.

"I am thrilled that Paul has been able to share his talent and experience with Swindon's young, local talent," said Marketing Manager Richard Loftus. "Paul is one of the first performers I can distinctly re-call seeing on stage, at Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre in Fame - the Musical, and his rendition of I Want to Make Magic is one that stands out prominently in my mind to this day. It is a privilege to have him at the Wyvern Theatre nurturing the next generation of Musical Theatre performers."

An Evening of Dirty Dancing will return to the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon, for one night only on Friday 5 July 2013. Book tickets today at wyverntheatre.org.uk or by calling the Ticket Office on 01793 524 481.
