2012 IYAF Hosts RAISE THE ROOF Opening Night Celebration at Rose Theatre Tonight, July 6

Creative Youth and Kingstonfirst presents The International Youth Arts Festival Kingston 2012 Opening Night Concert - Raise the Roof tonight, 6th July at 7.30pm in the Rose Theatre.

From 29th June -22 July 2012 Kingston will come alive as young people from the ages of 5 to 26 showcase the very best in youth arts, selected from the UK and Internationally. Over 5000 young people will come together to participate in workshops, projects and performances, showcasing their work in more than 300 events over 15 venues throughout the town.

Following a week of workshops and Kicking off the performance side of the festival with some real style, this variety concert features highlights from some of the very best acts coming up in the weeks ahead. Exhilarating dance, joyous music, gripping theatre and spectacular circus are brought together in an awe- inspiring evening which will leave audiences desperate to see what the next 16 days will bring!
