Tulsa Project Theatre Presents 'Broadway Your Way' Concerts, 7/28-31

A concert celebrating the music of Broadway will play Tulsa Performing Arts Center this week.

According to the Center's website: "Broadway Your Way is a cabaret featuring a full cast of artists performing Broadway favorites selected by the Tulsa community. A featured production of the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Trust's SummerStage Festival, Broadway Your Way is a unique concept promoting pre-production audience participation.

A public campaign to nominate and vote for audience favorites began April 1, 2011. Once the votes are tallied, the winning numbers will be orchestrated and choreographed. The stage and set design will compliment the dynamic diversity of each piece."

The mission of TPT is to become Tulsa's professional theatre company and to work in cooperation with TU and other local entities to enhance, support, and expand the city's theater programs.
